My name is Stephanie Martinez. I’m a mother of 5 children that have attended Tift County Schools, 3 of which have graduated. I opened my own tax business this past tax season. My desire is to see our school system exceed all expectations and for all children to have a quality education. Our children’s future depends on parents, teachers, and board members working together to make sure every option is open to them. I look forward to hopefully being a part of the School Governance Team and making a difference for our children.

I grew up in the Tift County School System. After high school I attended ABAC where I received my associate’s degree, then Valdosta State University where I received my bachelor’s degree, and finally University of Georgia where I received my master’s degree. I currently work as a crop insurance agent with Sumner Ag Services in Tifton. I am also an active member of Northside Baptist Church.
Growing up on a farm and working all through school, my passion has always been focused on agriculture and the outdoors. I pride myself on being a very dedicated, hardworking, level headed person, and I promise to always strive to help in any way I possibly can. Thank you for your consideration as a candidate for Local School Governance Team and I look forward to serving Omega Elementary school going forward.
