What an incredible experience for Mrs. Story's Allied Health classes! They recently toured Tift Regional Medical Center, where they saw firsthand the careers they've been learning about this semester, including respiratory services, medical imaging, and surgical services. Students practiced intubation, cauterizing, and surgical stapling. A big thank you Tift Regional for this valuable insight! #ctaemonth #healthcare #4theT #LetsGrowTogether

🌟 Celebrating Our Legacy: FBLA Week Proclamation and Over 70 Years of Leadership! 🌟 Today, we gathered at Tifton City Hall to honor FBLA Week with a special proclamation signing. With FBLA members from Tift County High School and both middle schools present, Mayor Julie B. Smith officially recognized February 9-15, 2025, as FBLA Week in Tifton. 🎉 This event celebrated not only the incredible accomplishments of our students today but also our chapter’s rich history. Did you know? 1942: The first high school chapter of FBLA was chartered in Johnson City, Tennessee. 1947: Iowa became the first state chapter. 1949: Georgia proudly became the fourth state chapter, showcasing our state's early commitment to business education. 1952: Tift County High School officially chartered its FBLA chapter on November 13, 1952, making our chapter one of the longest-standing contributors to FBLA’s legacy. 1994: FBLA expanded its reach to younger students by creating the FBLA-Middle Level division for grades 5–9, ensuring future generations are prepared for leadership. With over 70 years of history, our chapter has consistently inspired students to develop leadership, business skills, and a commitment to service. Today’s proclamation is a testament to FBLA's impact on our community and the opportunities it provides for students to thrive. 📜 Swipe to see highlights from the proclamation signing and a look at our original charter! #FBLAWeek #FBLAHistory #TiftCountyProud #LeadershipInAction #BusinessEducation #FutureLeaders #4theT #LetsGrowTogether 💼✨
