Students in Mrs. Alexander’s Forensic Science class completed a Bertillon System of Measurements Lab in conclusion of their unit on Forensic history. The Bertillon System of Criminal Identification used body measurements to distinguish between individuals. These measurements could then be used to compile a description of an individual. Students were given a mock crime scene and asked to use body measurements to identify the suspect. Students quickly became aware of the many flaws this system exhibited and understood why this is no longer used in today’s criminal investigations. #BTTY #4theT

Business Communications students participated in mock interviews with community members and teachers. Community members Jessica Gandy and Gina Nelson and teachers Mr. Owen, Mr. Johnson, and Mrs. Thorne helped conduct these interviews. Students were able to get gain practice and experience for a real job interview.
