Mrs. Blaire Hill and Mrs. Jennifer Alexander's classes participated in a tool mark lab last week. Students produced tool marks and then casted the impressions. Investigators cast impressions to compare markings with tools they suspect are used in crimes.
Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Hill, and Mrs. Staines teamed up to introduce the Forensic Science classes to bloodstain pattern analysis. Students recreated common blood spatter patterns and interpreted what the patterns tell investigators about a crime.

TCHS' horticulture class has been selected to participate in the Growing Beyond Earth program. This program is a collaboration project with Fairchild Tropical Gardens and NASA. The class is growing research trails of radishes in the veggie box provided by NASA. They are collecting growth and harvest data that is shared with NASA. NASA will use this data to select radish varieties that will eventually be grown in the international space station!
If you don't have plans for Thanksgiving, consider going to Fulwood Park . See attached flyer for details.
