Ms. Day's Introduction to Hardware classes was able to perform a lab involving the disassembly and reassembly of a computer. Students had to identify parts and learn how things were connected and disconnected inside a PC. The Agribusiness class has been learning business etiquette skills along with different business structures. Students learned how to make proper business phone calls, send business emails, introduce business associates, and write proper thank you letters as they invited local businesses to speak to their class. Graphic Design student Walker McKeller teamed up with Early Childhood to design and execute this Student of the Month bulletin board. The Student of the Month bulletin board is located in the commons so everyone can see the recipients. #BTTY #4theT


Mrs. Ashley Thoron's horticulture class started off the semester learning about functions and types of roots, stems, and leaves. They created their own root system and conducted an experiment to see the xylem in the stem in action. #BTTY #4theT

Melissa Busbin wrote a Bright Ideas grant through Colquitt EMC and was chosen! Her grant proposal focused on teaching classic critical thinking skills of traditional board games with a modern way to connect and align with computer programming and technology. Her goal is to inspire students to develop their own games as they develop computational thinking, problem solving, and team work. This is Mrs. Busbin’s second time receiving a Bright Ideas grant; congratulations! #BTTY #4theT #CTAE
