Our Pre-K and Kindergarten students had an exciting week meeting some of our local heroes! A big thank you to the Tifton Fire Department, Tift County Emergency services, Omega Police Department, local farmers, and the Georgia Peanut Commission for visiting our classrooms.
Our littlest learners loved exploring the emergency vehicles, learning about where our food comes from, and discovering how these amazing helpers keep our community safe and thriving!

🌾🚜 5th Grade at Destination Ag! 🐄🌱
Our 5th graders had a wonderful time attending Destination Ag at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture (Agrirama)!
Students rotated through several fun, hands-on stations, learning lots about agriculture, conservation, animals, and the important role agriculture plays in our everyday lives. Of course, we also made time for some fun on the playground!
Thank you Destination Ag for allowing our students to learn outside the classroom + the memories we took home with us!

Get ready to shine as we celebrate Tift County Homecoming 2026 with the theme Night Under the Stars! 💙⭐
Are you ready for our dress up days? Some days may be different for Grades Pre-K–5 and Grades 6–12 so check the images for themes.
Be sure to join our community for the Homecoming Parade on Thursday at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Homecoming game on Friday night!

📚⭐ Calling all Tift County Second-Grade Readers! The 2nd Grade Book Blitz begins October 1st!
From October 1st through November 1st, second graders will compete to become their school’s Super Reader by earning the highest word count in Book Taco.
To qualify, students must:
📘 Take a Book Taco quiz for each book to receive word-count credit
⭐ Maintain an average quiz score of 80% or higher
📚 Only take quizzes on books checked out from the school library in their name
Each school will recognize one Super Reader, and winners will be announced during a District-wide Reading Rally for all second graders!
