A draft of the 2026–2027 Tift County Schools calendar is now available for a 30-day public comment and review period, and we want to hear from YOU!

This calendar was developed using valuable feedback from our Superintendent Advisories and other stakeholders. Now we’re inviting staff, parents, families, and community members to take a look and share your thoughts.

Congratulations to the Omega Elementary School November students of the month. #4theT

Riley, Rowan, and Charleigh all play for the DUCKS travel ball team out of Nashville. Last weekend they played in a tournament and all won rings! Riley plays on the 8U team. She won the game ball for hitting the winning run. Rowan and Charleigh play on the 10U team. Charleigh won the MVP award. Both teams placed as CHAMPIONS in the Silver Bracket.
Way to go girls!!!

Ms. Ashley Sparks, Omega Elementary School 5th grade teacher, was selected from staff who maintained perfect attendance during the first 9 weeks and will receive $250 school cash to purchase supplies for her classroom. Congratulations to Ms. Sparks! #4theT
