Georgia’s Path2College 529 Plan and the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) have partnered to offer the Path from Pre-K to College Sweepstakes. The promotion is open to parents of children who attend a Georgia Pre-K program. Enter the sweepstakes between March 1–31, 2026 for your chance to win $1,529. Four randomly selected winners will receive a $1,529 contribution to their Path2College 529 Plan account, and their Pre-K program will also win $1,529.

Omega Elementary’s 3rd Annual-2nd Grade Market Day was a complete success!
2nd grade students set up their own Market Shop to offer goods and/or services as PRODUCERS. Students also were CONSUMERS and could buy, barter, or trade at other markets to gain any good or service they wanted.
Market Day provides our 2nd graders with an opportunity to apply the Georgia Standards of Excellence: Social Studies-Economic standards they worked so hard to master.
Parents came to help “work” at their student’s market as they shopped around. Teachers also got involved using special coupons to barter with, in order to obtain any of the goods/services the wanted.

Tryouts will be held May 6–7 from 4:15 PM – 6:00 PM at the TCHS Softball Field.
All participants must have an updated physical on file and bring your own equipment to tryouts.
