Second Grade began their “Lifecycles” unit this week by incubating chicken eggs that will eventually go into the brand new chicken coop. A HUGE thank you to Mr. Mickey Bentley and his High School Construction classes for putting the coop together for us.

The Middle South Georgia Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) recently held their annual Poster Contest for second and third grade students within the District’s nine county area. These third grade student placed 1st - 3rd for the county. Great job students! #4theT

First graders know how to compare and contrast! We read books about Frogs vs Toads and Wasps vs Bees. They learned about their similarities and differences. We used the Venn Diagram to show what we know! Fun fact: Wasps chew up stems and wood then spit it back up to make their paper like nests!
