
Mrs. Veazey's 2nd grade class received the first "Lunchroom Legends" honor. Each week one class displaying the best behavior in the lunchroom is chosen for this honor. The class chose a slushy party as their reward, and the teacher chose a 15 minute early leave pass. #4theT



Students in Mrs. Beth's Pre-K Class worked hard to create a friendship trail mix. The students are learning all about making friends and what it means to be a friend. #4theT





Students in Ms. Hunter's Kindergarten class were excited to have a guest reader this morning. Roslyn read her book "Be Quiet!" to the class, and the students really enjoyed it!

The Southwell clinic located at Annie Belle Clark Elementary will be consolidating with the other Southwell clinic located at Eighth Street Middle School beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023.
Family nurse practitioner Monica Davis, FNP-C will continue to provide non-emergent sick care for the students, staff and retirees of Tift County Schools, but at one location as of Sept. 5.
The Eighth Street Middle School Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Children are not seen without parental consent. For more information, please call 229-353-ESMS (3767). #4theT


Out of an abundance of caution, Omega Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this morning due to a medical concern with a staff member at the school. There was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff and the school has resumed normal operations. #4theT


Mrs. Overman's 3rd grade class worked in groups to do a "blind build." Students had to use their communication skills and show great teamwork. #4theT #Teamwork
