Through a partnership with Southwell, all Tift County Students, Staff and Retirees can be seen for non-emergent/sick visits at the clinic at 8th Street Middle School Monday-Friday from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. School picture day will be rescheduled, since school will be closed on Friday, September 27, 2024. The new date will be posted as soon it is scheduled.

After communicating with the National Weather Service and the local Emergency Management Agency we have determined that weather conditions predicted for our area are not suitable for the normal course of operation. As a result, all Tift County Schools will be closed Thursday, September 26th and Friday, September 27th. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Please stay safe and follow local weather updates. We will continue to provide further information as needed. #4theT

Tifton Police Department has increased police presence around all Tift County Schools. During the month of August, Tifton Police Department issued 67 speeding citations in speed zones. School zone enforcement ensures the safety of our students, staff, and families as they enter and exit our campuses.
