Mrs. Beth and Ms. Kaysie's class read several versions of The Little Red Hen. After reading The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza, they enjoyed a delicious pizza thanks to our wonderful lunchroom staff. The students were so excited to make the connection with the book they read.

Parents, Today we conducted a Lock Down drill to help keep our staff and students aware and in practice of how we behave if faced with an actual emergency situation. Our school did a great job in following our safety procedures! Great job everyone!

Mrs. Candace's first graders have been learning about the scientific process. While practicing their science skills, they completed an experiment, made daily observations and recorded them in a notebook. In the end, they enjoyed the product of their experiment, Rock Candy!
